I'm a big reader and love to make bookmarks. I've been thinking about figuring out a detachable bookmark card for a while and now finally did this prototype!
- Bookmarks stamped on apricot appeal DP and colored/highlighted with copic markers.
- Perforated the celery strip on both sides of each bookmark so the perforation marks wouldn't be visible when the bookmarks were added.
- Adhesive applied to the middle of each pair of perforations on the celery strip.
- Bookmarks adhered to the celery strip only.
- Celery strip adhered to card base.
Card recipient to be instructed on how to destroy the card and be left with bookmarks.
I couldn't think of any adhesives that wouldn't tear the bookmarks and finally settled on having an extra rectangle of cardstock on the back of the bookmarks as being better than torn marks. If anyone has any adhesive ideas that would result in tear-free bookmarks but straight layers, feel free to post them!

The herma dots would probably work great for this. They are a removeable adhesive and once the bookmarks are removed from the card they would be able to rub the adhesive off of the back of them.

Wonderful idea!! Very nice. Maybe if you used temporary Hermafix adhesive. I once made a card that could turn into a refrigerator magnet (in my gallery) but that one was easy because I used magnetic paper and you just pulled it off.
