This is my second SC, such a fun one, I couldn't resist! I did reverse the orientation of the card.
I'm in a purple mood...it looks wonderful with blue and brown, don't you think? My papers are from My Mind's Eye, Bohemia the Bella collection mother dots, sweet sisters paisley, and adorable flowers. The edges are pretty little girs mini harlequin. The card base is an unknown textured cs. I stamped SU's paisley on the top of it in ColorBox chalk ink, chestnut roan. I used vintage German silver scrap for the long edges...on the wide bottom I used all of it, on the narrow top, I cut off the smallest edge.
The star of the card is the Dickinson quote stamped on SU soft sky in Adirondack espresso and embossed in clear. I matted it with one of the browns from the MME paper and again in shimmer white. popped up on dots.
Everytime I read ~the mere sense of living is JOY enough~ I can't help but take a deep breath and tell myself it's gonna be a great day!

Love that textured paper , and your deeply coloured paper one your feature panels! The staples are so groovy and so now - very cool - and love the silver edging on your card!
Isn't it a joy that we both have such totally different styles - but can still so very much appreciate the other persons styles?? Now, that too is joy!
