I have made one of these before, but I did this one a different way. I used Modge Podge and "sealed" the card with Acrylic Sealer. (Note to self: wait until that stuff dries properly before trying to put snail on the back of it to stick it down to other pieces - lol!!!!)
On the piece of tissue, I firstly stamped French Script in Going Gray ink. Then stamped over that with the solid rose image from Simple Sketches in Perfect Plum, stamped off once. I alternated the second step of the rose stamp between the lesser solid and the outline stamp using Elegant Eggplant. Once "Modge Podged" I added some Dazzling Diamonds before sealing the piece with some acrylic sealer.
With the mat pieces, I used the lovely swirly stamp from Scribble This (Doodle This in the US) around the edges.
The sentiment was stamped in Elegant Eggplant, sponged over with Perfect Plum, then restamped in Versamark, before some clear EP was added and heat embossed.
I made this for a dear friend who this week scored a brand new job for way better working conditions - she's so deserving of it, so I wanted to make her a card that's special!!!!!

I really found myself studying this one because it has so many neat elements. Love the sparkle and the colors you chose but my favorite technique is that you sort of overstamped your layers so that they blended into the stamped background. Very nice. Don't forget--April 4-5!
