My card was created with my best friend here spending the weekend...we always have a blast playing when we are together and while she was determined to paper fold (I took a pass on that Dahlia) she mastered it! I sat quitely composing this card with plans to slip into her suitcase so she would come across it when she was back home...oh, she saw me making it, just not expecting it would find its' way home.
My base is Su soft sky with white accents. I used the fabulous Asian sets from A Stamp in the Hand for my friends...stamped in Versacolor black and embossed in clear. The cherry blossom sprig is Fancy Panys in the garden clear acrylic. I inked this in soft sky on white. I used the rectangle nestabilities for the center matts. The symbol means FRIEND and is from Technique Tuesday 'Skin Deep' again stamped in Versacolor black and embossed. My metal friends at the bottom are brads from Jo's which have been placed on the postage punch from Martha...guess I spread my $$$ amongest the gals well!!!
Oh, and my friend did eventually find the card...with a reminder to PLAY EVERYDAY!!! Thanks very much for looking and thanks to Betty for the inspiration.

Susan....this is fantastic!!!!! Love how you incorporated the Asian stamp and friend symbol!!!! It is amazing that you were able to keep the same layout, yet use people stamps. And, the postal punches and letter brads are perfect!!!!!! Great card and thanks so much for playing!!!! Love your story, too!!!!!

Lucky friend you have, Susan, to have a friend like you! I like how you used the FS card as your launching pad for this creative piece, and picking another culture to showcase the bond of friendship the permeates the world is just wonderful! Love this Asian theme! TFS!
