I love my card catalog - it's just perfect for storing all of my little bits & pieces. I keep paper scraps in there, embellishments, envelopes, cuttlebug folders & dies. Sizzix, mono, scissors, rulers, glitter, glue, paint - you know - all the STUFF we accumulate! It's my favorite thing (next to my new Cricut) in my craft room. I got mine from a local college when they went computerized in their library. Best $150 I ever spent!

Great photo on the wall. Is it your grandfather? I have a picture of mine similar in an oval frame.
I work in a library and we got rid of our card catalog, wish now I had snagged it myself.
He's actually my great-great-grandfather. We've never quite figured out how these photos were ever made. They were dirt poor - could never have afforded photography . . . there's some speculation that they were made for a book about the poor in the Appalachian mountains of NC.
