I saw Sharon's (notimetostamp) challenge and instantly remembered this purse I made back before I became a rubber addict. It is my version of a purse that was in an advertisement in Paper Crafts magazine back in 2005.
I actually scanned the purse in the ad, blew it up and printed it off so I could make the pattern. I use generic pieces of tan CS for the purse body and flap, then a piece of dk brown, scalloped it with my scallop scissors then punched the holes. The cowhide DP came from a scrapbook store, no clue to the brand name.
I had the conchos forever, so I glued one on for the snap. It is SUPPOSED to look like a Brighton.
I'm sorry I can't provide a template for the purse, but anyone's welcome to print the picture and copy it. It is 8 1/4" at its widest, 7 1/2" at the top where the flap folds over, and 5" deep. The flap is 3 3/8 long. The brown piece is 1/4 inch smaller, and the cowhide is 1/4 inch smaller. Simple, really.
