Except for the card base all of the card was made from scraps. I just can't seem to part with miscellaneous scraps! The black part of the flower was the negative of a flower I punched out for another card and thought it was pretty. The circle the flower is on was cut months ago. The black trim of the flower was a piece left over from some other project. The flowers were stamped twice, and then water colored. The flowers themselves were on scraps and then layered over the first stamped image. The butterfly, also scraps, was water colored then embossed. The striped paper was a piece of glossy paper that I didn't like the image on the other side; so, I flipped it over and made the strips in varying widths on the other side. The ribbon was left over, but I wish I had had a litttle more pre-cut. I didn't want to cut any more. Okay, so that's being a little cheap, but I was on this "Let's use what we have already cut" mode. My dh laughs when he sees the scraps I save, but when he sees what I do with them he is quite amazed.
Over all, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
Now you know how it got it's name!
Great challenges!
