I saw the envelope that I used to give DH his valentine in sitting on the counter today while I was cleaning up. I was going to throw it away, but then inspiration hit me. Needless to say, that was the end of the picking up.
I didn't seal the envelope when I gave him the card, but I did write his name on it. Can't tell can you...that's because the belly band is covering it up. I don't think I will ever seal an envelope I give to DH again...at least not the first time I use it!
--->edit<----
In response to a question posted below, the envelope is a standard A2 - I sealed the envelope then cut off one of the ends. The card inside pulls out to write a message, etc. It is cut to the standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.
Thanks for looking!

So I'm just a bit confused~ which portion was the envelope, and what is the size of the finished card? If the finished card is an A2, you cut the envelope apart?

Great idea and very nice card. DH's valentine to me this year has a flyleaf sort of clean page in it that I've been itching to use as DP--you've just inspired me. You crack me up--I flit from one thing to the next when inspiration hits, too, but at 57, I have a hard time remembering where I was so I find half-unloaded washers, etc. It makes life an adventure.
