This is a card I did for my upline and her daughter since her mother/grandmother passed away.
I stamped the main image in stazon jet black then colored with markers. I did the faux silk, but wanted to sprinkle dazzling diamonds on so I covered the front of the image with watered down school glue. When I did this the marker smeared a bit. That was unacceptable....so I turned it into a MOP card (messy on purpose) by using my acrylic brayer in several directions and smeared the ink a lot more. Looks better IRL. So does the card base....it's night of navy and not as dark as the scan is showing. Inside left I Gold embossed a sentiment from God's Blessings that says.
May God's love heal your sorrow, and may His peace replace your heartache with warm and loving memories.

This is simply lovely. Your coloring is wonderful. I had never heard of MOP cards before but this definitely does not be the result of a mistake ~ just lovely coloring.
Deb, this is gorgeous! Love the story of how the end result was reached. Too funny! I couldn't have purposely created anything that wonderful! The petals look velvet.
