I have a terrible time with the More is More challenge---my brain just isn't wired that way!!
Sooooo....I did the MIM challenge in reverse, lol!! For me it's a Less is Less challenge! :o)
I needed a 3D swap that I could reasonably mass produce, so I made the 'more' version first and worked backwards taking elements away to get the scaled-down version---s'pose that's not in the *spirit* of the challenge, is it? ;)
For the scaled-down version I took away the beaded stick pin, the fine lace stamped in white craft on the vellum, and the velvet and tafetta ribbons on the bookmark.
As for the project, the lilacs are stamped on shimmery white (I love how the shimmer shines through the ink---how exactly does that work, I wonder?), I dragged the edges of the shimmery white over the perfect plum ink pad, and the sentiment is embossed in black.
Thanks so much to notimetostamp for the wonderful instructions for making these sleeved bookmarks.
And TFL!
