This card was made for yesterday's Inspiration Challenge. You can see the inspiration bedding here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers I was not too excited about the colors in the inspiration piece an I'm still struggling with the way they showed up in the card as well. But here it is. I was most absorbed by all the texture in the piece and I tried to recreate that here. I used the paisley background stamp because it reminded me of the pattern in the bedspread and has that fabric feel built into it. I used the linen stamp over the tree image to pick up the fabric texture in the pillow. The dark green edging around the tree square and the the triangles at the top were done with a piece of cardstock that I seperated in layers to create a fuzzy texture to it. The cream strip was made by scoring every 1/4 inch on one side and than every 1/4 inch in between the original scores from the reverse side. I then coated this piece with lumiere paint to give it the sheen of satin. I added a bit more texture with the cuttlebugged strip and the ribbon and finally the brads and HPH frame in dark brown to pick up the bed frame.
