My brother asked me for some cards for a woman he recently met. She is an oncology patient about to enter hospice and wanted cards for those people who would be caring for her. So, I knew that I would be sorting through and making cards for her.
I really like this hibiscus bloom from retired Flower Garden. Used a large scalloped oval punch to cut out the watercolored image. Then matted it on ovals cut from Fiskars templates. Punched 1/16 inch holes in the scallops and shaded with pastels. Used Signo white gel pen to make dots on purple matte. Popped this up on leftover stamp material foam after tying bow from scrap ribbon. Added the stamped and punched Designer Label to the scrap background DP that was corner punched and shaded. Whoops! Forgot to mention the Old Olive card! This card from mostly scraps turned out very pretty and might be on of my own favorites. What do you think? TFL!!! -Chrysi-
