| | This is a 3x5 index-card notebook - all dressed up - & cost $1.39 at Walmart. The inside cards are perforated. I painted the top of the card, around the spirals, with acrylic paint, down about 1/4 inch. I then glued on different patterns of paper, covering seams with coordinating ribbon. Chipboard initial is also covered with a coordinating paper. I tied ribbon scraps, about 5 different kinds on every spiral. You can't see it, but the underside of the cover is finished, as well. I just covered the paper that was folded under, from the front, with another piece. The most time-consuming part of the project was waiting for the paint to dry! This project was a blast. |
