Thanks, Elaine. I cut paper 12 inches x 4 inches and on the 4 inch side at the point of the flag I went in about halfway down the length of the word window punch and then punched another word window overlapping just a bit so that it was like 1 and a half word window punches (only half way down the length). This did put the seam of the paper on the side of the mailbox. I just used sticky strip, which is the ultimate adhesive and had no problems with it sticking well. I also applied (on most of them) wide ribbon around the mailbox as an embellishment and on the other ones, I did put ribbon on the seam (which I don't recommend in case the flag goes down and snags on the ribbon). For the doors and backs of the mailboxes, I ran the paper through my xyron for a full stick to the tin. No problems whatsoever. Very fun and my friends are gonna love 'em!
