This is my take on the inspiration challenge, a flower packet...the colors intrigued me. Plus I have had this set from A Stamp in the Hand for tooo long without inking!
I wanted to use the colors as my jumping off point, so I embossed the lanterns and watercolored them with 3 shades of orange. They are layered on cs with the groovy guava layer stamped in spiced marmalade CHF rice paper BG). I distressed some of the edges and chalked the rr layer. The Asian lady was stamped on RR with distress ink.I like the details as she had a writing instrument and a scroll in her hand. So I'm thinking she is inking some paper to write a note of encouragement to her sweetie. Impress sentiment.

This is a nifty card that is well-put-together and very interesting. I love the texture from the twine and the distressed layers. Very cool and original take on the challenge!
