For WT149, to use embossing. I am so intrigued with the possible effects of brayering and emerge/resist and this was another attempt to play. I stamped the leaves after marking them with different colors, then I embossed the images. I also drew and embossed the leaf stems. The stamp has "open spaces" and I tried to fill some by sponging with marigold and pumpkin before brayering with pumpkin, olive and black.
What I learned was that I should have masked the outer leaf images before brayering with black so that the outer edges of the leaves would show against the black. Ah...another work in progress! Thanks for looking!

In which art gallery might I see this in person? I want this matted, framed and hung on my wall! This is so incredibly gorgeous -- by far the coolest result of this technique combo!
