I labored over this for a couple of days trying to work out the layers and such. I was also modifying the template a bit to allow more interior space for mounting the book inside the frame. I miscalculated and fell short a half inch on my outer cover. I solved that problem by inserting a scallop edge between the layers.
The sentiment I made up on my computer and cut out with the fiskars shape cutter. I added eyelets to the scallop to add dimension and soft focus. The flowers are simple punched and added stickles.
The paper is from Michaels . . . some premium brand that I can't recall the name of. I was pleased with the weight, and it's much sturdier than other books I've made in the past.
Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome. Thanks for looking.
