I'm not sure why I am still making cards with retired stamps...but I couldn't help it...I just love this set. I saw this type of card on the Nichole's blog at Papertrey and I loved her dogwood branch. I do not have that stamp set yet...so I improvised with this set. The colors used were: Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate and Confetti Cream. Ink was Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink, Purely Pomegranate and Chocolate Chip Marker. The ribbon is Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon...I have tons on hand.

I've been in a slump, funk, what ever and the creativity just went! Then I saw your card! BEAUTIFUL. I came to life. I'm making this one! And thanks for waking me up!

This is really pretty! I love it. You did a great job. With a card as pretty as yours, who cares if it's a retired stamp set? As the saying says *if you got it, flaunt it* - and you sure did! Okay....so my humor is a bit off....but my eyes are working fine and your card is just lovely!

I love those stamps! Hey...I sometimes feel like I have to stamp with current SU stamps too but that's not really right is it. The stamps can't help it if they are retired! I LOVE that ribbon. Nice card.
