I did this card for TLC 149, Technique Lover's Challenge, Split Negative with a Twist. The twist part was to uses colors other than black and white.
I've used light blue and dark blue here, with contrasting light and dark blue EPs. This was my first try using my new Cuttlebug, and is it ever fun! I've used decorative paper for the first time as well.
I CB'ed the DP background paper with the Snowflake folder, and used a folded over piece along the top of the main image where I've torn the edge. The white mulberry paper is supposed to represent blowing snow.
Thanks for looking, and Happy New Year!
Maddy
PS- I colored the blue brads with a dark blue Sharpie marker after I took the photo- looks much better now! :-D

Very pretty! Love how you colored the cuttlebug BG. I've been wanting to do a different colored split neg card. I keep seeing one on a commercial I think for jammy grams that is so pretty. I need to get some colored EP or try it with craft ink and clear EP. Love how you used the mulberry paper on this.
