This layout was done for a challenge on Shabby Miss Jenn's blog - to do a scraplift of a certain layout posted there. I bought the SMJ kit "Winter Horses" specifically because I wanted to scrap some horse photos of my DD with her cousin when they were visiting this summer. Those two girls have only played together a few times, and they both love Grandpa's horses, and so I really, really wanted to get a page of them petting the horse.
All elements on this page are by Shabby Miss Jenn, with the exception of some stitching on the ribbon, which is by Windgefluester. Most of the elements are from the Winter Ponies kit, except for the journal, which is from the Old Letters kit.
Photoshop actions by Holly McCaig. Drop shadows by Sara Amarie.
This page is a little busier than what I normally do, but I like it. I love SMJ's stuff... and so it was fun to push myself to try this layout.

This is lovely!! My oldest love horses as well though she's never been brave enough to actually pet one yet (she just turned 4). I love the layered look to this layout and the vintage pastels. The glitter on the horses title so neat! I just realized you did this digitally. Beautiful page! TFS
