I usually just do LO´s with my kids and wrestlers they have met but sometimes I feel like doing something different. This LO is from the trip my son and I took to Barcelona Spain i sep 07 where we saw wrestling, met wrestlers and, believe it or not, were cultural as well! We did go see all the sights and the most impressive thing was the church La Sagrada Familia which has been under construction for over a hundred years and is still not completed. The architect Gaudi must have been a either crazy or a genius, I believe the latter. Genius is something you cant say about me since I totally wrecked this one. It started out well when I tried to cut out shapes from the church and it looked good when I put them all together with the photos. I missed some shades so I started with 3D-cushions, a chalk, and then I took out the different pens!. At first it came along fine but just as with stickles, I just cant stop myself when I am holding pens. I filled in a little here and a little there on the shapes I had cut out and eventually they were covered with badly drawn windows and openings. I thought I would share this one with you as an example on how not to do. That little extra, in my case, tends to be that big extra that takes over and destroys the first intention. From now on I will concentrate more on the wrestlingtheme!

This is so cool! We just took a cruise out of Barcelona - didn't get to see any of Gaudi's creations - didn't have ANY time before/after the cruise - HAVE to go back!!

It still turned out great! You should continue to broaden your horizons!!! Although I *really do* enjoy the wrestler's pages! My kids and I always go through and look at them! I now will have to scout area pubs and hotels when they are around since my kids want to meet them too! LOL!
