This is my 2nd CC card and boy was it a challenge to me. I tweaked a little bit of Beates supplies requested and added a few more steps. Instead of One 4"X5" of DP, I used one piece of dp with the measurements of 4"x 5 1/4". I cut according to her directions for the flower dp and just used the one piece needed. The dots dp I made the measurements 4 1/8"x5 1/4" and cut also using one piece. I wanted the look to be 1/8" from the edges for the criss cross. And matched edges for the bottom. I think it came out ok..just a few extra small steps is all it needed for me.
The insert of the card:
All the other supplies I followed that Beate recommended. I used a piece of scrap dp to attach to the very vanilla c/s. I stamped the pocket from Pocket Fun with white pigment ink onto black textured c/s and cut out. I used my CB flower die cuts to add flowers to the pocket. The blue flower is held on using a pop dot. I also added brads to the centers. My dh said it needed a ribbon for the pull-out tab. I stamped A Little Note onto a CB Slider die cut and slipped it through the ribbon. I really enjoyed making this Criss Cross card. I hope everyone likes it, as it was a challenge for me. TFL!
I'm sorry for the small black smudge, its on my camera. I didnt notice it until after I uploaded.
