I made this very pink and girlie card for a little girl, Natasha, who is turning 7 on December 27th! Her mom, Monika (AGMommyof2), put up a BRAK for Natasha the other day. Unfortunately, because her birthday is so close to Christmas, Natasha's birthday is thrown together with the holiday by a lot of people (poor thing!). To help lift Natasha's spirits, Monika has asked if anyone would like to send Natasha a card, to make sure she has a special day!
Natasha's favorite color is pink, so of course I had to use Pretty in Pink! And what 7yo girl doesn't like glitter??? The main panel is matted in chocolate chip and pretty in pink. The main panel is very vanilla stamped with an image from Art Warehouse Limited Edition in pretty in pink and regal rose. I used Beate's dazzling diamond dust technique on the whole panel. You can find the technique here: Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers.
The large flower is from Big Blossom. I stamped it in pretty in pink and then stamped a small flower from the Art Warehouse set in chocolate chip all over the flower. I cut the large flower out and sewed the button in the center. I attached the flower with 3D foam strips. Finally, I added some Fruit Punch stickles in the centers of the little chocolate chip flowers.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment, from Stamping Bella, in chocolate chip. The swirling designs are also from the Art Warehouse set and are stamped in pretty in pink.
Thanks for looking and I hope you like it! I think Natasha will!
