We had our office Ladies Christmas Luncheon yesterday and this was my gift. Well, the final gift also included a Starbucks gift card, but you get the idea. The gift card was actually clamped in the clothes pin.
I just covered both the front and back sides of the large clothes pin with Introduce dp using Mod Podge and a sponge brush. When it was dry, I sanded the edges with a sanding block and smoothed on another layer of Mod Podge to seal it.
For the stem of my flower, I grabbed some twill and stamped Love grows... on it with Old Olive ink. The leaves of my flowers are just scraps of Old Olive grosgrain ribbon. The grosgrain and twill are adhered with Sticky Strip Tape. The blossom of my flower is a piece of chipboard and coordinating sticker from BasicGrey's Infuse collection. I just added a coordinating button and a piece of hemp cord with a Mini-Glue Dot. I just peeled off the backing from the chipboard piece and stuck it on the clothes pins.
Lastly, I decided that it needed a bit of bling, so I added a row of pink Twinkle Stickers on the bottom.
The recipient really like it, and I hope you do too. Hey, even my 14 year old son told me it was cool. LOL!
