I came across this 4 1/2" heavy glass ornament with a sterling top in my clearance Christmas stash and thought it would make a pretty snowglobe. In the end, I decided to keep it as a hanging ornament because the top is too pretty to hide. This was a true challenge to photograph between the glitter, glass and acetate. I stamped the image in black stazon and then colored her dress with a sharpie marker. The white accents are acrylic paint and I added dazzling diamonds to the front side. The blue shading was created by using a cotton ball wet with rubbing alcohol and then dipped into an Azure Blue Stazon pad. Snowflakes were stamped in white stazon and the edges were sponged for a frosty look. This will be a little gift from our kids to my Sister who is their Godmother. I recycled the satin ribbon from a gift she gave me last Christmas. (Hope she doesn't see this before Christmas!)

Shelly, you are such a creative whiz. Thanks for all the details on your fabulous creation. Gorgeous ball. My daughter wanted to know if I wanted stamps for Christmas so I sent her with a list to Stampfrancisco. This was on my list so I'll see if it's in my gift package come Dec. 25.
