Here's a card I did for a contest held by Pinkhedgehog; the ribbon is from her store http://www.pinkhedgehogpapercrafts.com/
I used Debbie Olson's cool sketch from the big birthday bash for Lisa Strahl last week at http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/...2liel7c784n751
Of course the Thomas Kinkade stamp is from there too! I need to practice getting my image a little bit darker; My BIL has a birthday next week; his family has a house on Wells Beach in Maine so I think he'll like this!

You did a lovely job with it! On darkness, have you checked your ink pad to see if it needs reinking? Sometimes that will help. If the pad has plenty of ink, are you using a brayer to apply the ink? Sometimes it takes a while to get enough ink on the brayer to ink the stamp well. The stamps *will* stamp darker, so we just have to figure out what the key is for you! ;-D Love the ribbon and masculine feel too!
