First ... sorry for the bad picture. Not sure why its coming out so dark. :(
This card was made in very early November and was the first card I'd made since August. I was so pleased with it and going to use it for this years Christmas card; but then I saw a GORGEOUS card by Flaxychick using Figgy Pudding and almost the exact layout. :( I stopped liking mine after seeing her incredible card. Ladies like her need to find a way to bottle some of their marvelous talent. I'd spend a fortune to buy an ounce! LOL
So this design has been chucked and I went in another direction .... a simple and fast direction. haha I'll post that card in a couple weeks after everyone that is on my list receives it.
I used Shimmery White with two unknown textured card stocks; sorry. Its very old and from my scrap book days but matches the colors of the Figgy Pudding snowflake paper perfectly. Figgy isn't really blue, its more of a green so the pale card stock is a very pale sea foam green and the darker c/s is like Not Quite Navy with more green and lighter. The stamp set is my new favorite snowflake set by gel-a-tins. The punched snowflake is Martha Stewarts Artic punch and the wonderful little plastic snowflakes are from CTMH. They come flat white and you can do just about anything to them. They take alcohol inks well, but in this case none of the colors I had worked so I just put dazzeling diamonds on them. The ribbon is from Making Memories and is a perfect match to the light card stock. A crystal was added to the center of the stamped snowflake. I used SU! oval punch for the sentiment.

The most incredible snowflake card I've seen this season. That gel a tin snowflake is stunning. Love the colors you've used, layout, design--everything works so beautifully. This is one wonderful card.
