I had so much fun doing the Texas cards for the TexasGrammy featured stamper, I thought I would share my Christmas cards for my relatives and friends who still live in Texas.
On the white card front, I stamped the fir branch with pine green. Using the Shapecutter circles template (Fiskars), I cut three circles in a separate white c/s piece. I white embossed the Christmas boot on red then colored in w/ glitter gels and a white gel pen. On the green, I traced a Tx outline stencil with a silver Sharpie and attached punched chili peppers and holly leaves. These two were attached behind the two lower circles. Two small ornament punches were added w/ Tx punch outs on top. I drew the strings to the ornaments w/ the silver Sharpie and added bows w/ red stickles. I dotted the fir branches w/ the stickles, too.
This was attached to a red c/s layer and then to the card front. I cut the top circle thru all the layers so that the card inside shows. I embossed the greeting on a separate green circle with red glitter ep and attached it to the card inside to line up with the top circle. TFL
