I finally got to play with my new set! This is definitely going to be one of my favorites. I have to say the first 3 or 4 cards I did, this set was screaming for pink, so I challenged myself to do something other than pink, and these two cards are now my favorites.
I stamped the images on Confetti Cream in Black Craft and embossed them. I wanted the black to really show, which often it gets so faded with the colouring if you are like me and can't always stay in the lines...and embossing helps with that. However, don't plan on cutting them out. If you cut in to the embossed area, it tends to chip off, and that kept happening. I had to take my black marker to colour in areas where it chipped. Other than that the card is pretty straight forward.

I agree that pink or pink family always seems to want to go on my flowers as well...and I too love that you made the words the focal area and cut out the flowers to put around them...LOVE IT

I love this, especially because it is NOT pink. Simple design but one of my favorite cards I have seen done with this set.
