Whoo Hoo!!! I got my new MFT stamps and prismacolor pencils in the mail today and, of course, I HAD to play with them. Unfortunately, I do not seem to own a pencil sharpener, so no prismacolor pencils today. Oh well. However, I did have fun with my By the Seashore set. Love it, love it, love it! I pulled out some SU striped dp from a Simply Scrappin' kit and coordinated the rest of the colors to go with it. The main image is stamped in black stazon. I used the SU water color pencils and classic pads to watercolor the image with the aqua painter. I stamped the seashells in ruby red ink as a bg on the ruby red cs. I found some rick rack that I had that is a perfect match to old olive, which is one of the colors in the striped dp! I stamped the sentiment in ballet blue on the dp. I added the silver brads for a little shine.
I think this set will be seeing A LOT of ink and I'm so excited to finally have it! I hope you like it and thanks for taking a peek!

Oh yes, I am excited for you!!! I'm still waiting on my set! Love what you did with this - great colours, great layout - isn't it nice to have a beach themed card in the gloomy November season!! Great job!

Just wonderful!..the ric rack is so fitting...really works with the wave/sea thing! Great colouring the *old fashioned* way...have fun when you get your sharpener..I highly recommend the SU one...it's everything they say it is.
