My new puppy that I adopted from a pet rescue. He's a Lhasa Apso. He's such a mellow pup and his coat is getting prettier each day. He's not the most photogenic pup in the world. He's a lot cuter in person and many have agreed with me. But this one is a pretty good picture of him.
We named him Monk at first but our 3 year old kept calling him Monkey so I added Maximus since he's such a small pup and a small guy needed a strong name I thought
The background page was downloaded from twopeasinabucket, a freebie by Rhonna Farrer New Year Paper. I love her stuff and she's making me want to buy more of her work. Font from dafont.com or scrapvillage.com.
This was a super easy page to make, grabbed a background paper, plopped the picture and added text. But I love it.

Thank you for your comments! Yes, he's a great little addition. His breeder gave him up to the rescue due to cherry eye. Not a good breeder I must say. This person has about 300 dogs in one huge (temp control, bla bla) building. So as a result, Max is scared of loud noises, of course including dog barks, and was very scared of us picking him up the first couple of days. He's so much better now, such a loving pup, but still gets startled so easily and sometimes still piddles when my husband abruptly comes down to pet him. You feel sorry for him but at the same time you just want to laugh when he just jumps but then you feel bad afterwards.
He's got issues but we're working on it and we think he'll overcome them. Our puppy trainer said he's doing so well, we're glad. We're fine with his quirks but just wish he can pee in public -- we're going on a long Thanksgiving drive and Max just can't pee in a new place. He can do his big job just fine though.
This is a two page layout. The other side is just the journaling, of how we came across him and how he's been the last two months. I might post that sometimes later.

What an absolute sweetheart. We adopted our little sweetie too and he has become such a wonderful part of our family. I can not imagine life without him.
Hugs to you and your little one.
