I had this card in my sample box for a while. It was made last year, just after receiving my Unfrogettable set. I know I CASE'd the card from someone, but being a newbie and not quite up to speed with saving to my favorites folder- I don't know who it could be. I'm sorry! Meanwhile, I will go through the Unfrogettable gallery (its a big one - yikes!), so that I can give proper credit.
This was one of the most fun cards I think I've ever done. I don't know if it was the combination of bright & girly colors, wiggly eyes, or using Prismacolor pencils and OMS for the first time.
I stamped/masked the frog and mushrooms. Colored it in with pencils and OMS, then matted the main image. I stamped Canvas on the cardbase and attached the patterned paper. I added a strip of ribbon and adhered the main image. Added the sentiment and used a slot punch to make an opening to thread the ribbon through. I created an imitation button for the ribbon (just a paper punchout from 1/8" punch with 2 dots for buttonholes) and glued it down. Stamped, colored and trimmed out the dragonfly, then added some penworks for the swirly line. I glued wiggly eyes on the frog.
TFL!
