This is for Peggy's challenge to "Use the Good Stuff" Well, I'm all out of "good" paper because unlike most scrappers, I've gotten out of the habit of hoarding my good stuff! lol. However, the stuff I used on this page that I just HAD to have were my embossing gun, the Lots of Letters chipboard and the adorable brown and pink checked ribbon. Love it! This is a pic of my DD last march. She was 8 months old I think. There is hidden journaling under the picture. Its rather long so I understand if you don't want to read it but it says, "Kessa I think this is one of the first pictures we have where you don't just look like a baby anymore. It made me start thinking about things I want you to know. There is so much to teach you. The first lessons are easy, like mimicking me and mommying your babies. Feeding them, doing their hair and putting them "night-night." But as you grow the lessons sometimes get harder. Like knowing that just because your actions are right doesn't mean that your heart is. God cares more about what drives our actions than he does about the end results. We have to make sure that our passions stem from a love of Him and not from selfishness or pride. Make Christ your delight and treasure and you will truly have all there is in the world. Someone once said, "He who has Christ and everything has no more than he who has Christ alone." I pray our whole family will come to believe that and live it out. Love, mom
