What better way to add a bit of cheer around the house than with hanging door or window garland!
Ever since I received these stamps, I've been wanting to make one of those retro-style door hangers.
I started by stamping several different sized snowflakes on acetate. I used the circle nestabilites and the cuttlebug to cut them out. Next, I punched holes in either side of the circle and attached them together with silver cord. Each line is about 5 feet long. They are all tied to a piece of white grosgrain, which is where you attach the decoration to the door frame.
This photograph was taken with the garland hanging from an interior door frame.
Supplies:
Stamps: Retro Flakes by gel-a-tins
Ink: Stazon Ultramarine
Paper: Acetate (Staples brand)
Accessories, etc.: circle nestabilities, crop-a-dile, silver cord, white grosgrain
