This is the recipe box with cards shown by Pam Morgan at Denver Convention 2007. I've added other projects for my upcoming stamp camp: folded ornament and the two-pocket "tote" made at regionals. I've also made a 6 x 6 card, a clipboard and a photo wallet (found in SCS forum). I used the Winter Bright Simply Scrappin' Kit (and only used one each of the self-adhesive dye cut sheets - so all these projects can be recreated with additional card stock). Not much stamping here but I also used: real red wide grosgrain ribbon, large eyelets, wild wasabi DS ribbon, ice rhinestone brads and the Snowflake stamp set.
Folded DSP Ornament
Supplies (all StampinÂ’ Up!):
- Paper trimmer with scoring and cutting blades.
- 6” x 12” piece of double-sided designer paper (DSP)
I used DSP from the Winter Bright Simply ScrappinÂ’ kit)
- Rhinestone brads (I used Ice)
- Elastic cord
- Bone folder
- Mini glue dots
Directions:
Cut 8 3” x 3” pieces of DSP
- Fold each square in half diagonally, and crease the fold with bone folder.
- With the folded part on your right and the opening on your left, take the left top corner and fold down towards the left bottom corner creating a triangle.
- Repeat fold on all eight squares (use one side of designer paper for 4, and the other side of the DSP for the remaining 4)
- With the folded part still facing you put adhesive on the top back behind the small triangle fold
- Put the top fold of one folded piece up against the bottom (open) part of the smaller folded triangle all the way to the right
- Continue putting adhesive and adding folded pieces until you have all pieces added
- Be sure to tuck under the last two pieces and add a glue dot to the back of the first folded piece to hold it all together
- Add elastic cord through the center of the ornament or add an eyelet to one flap and put cord through the eyelet and add tag if desired
- Add rhinestone brad through the enter of ornament
