Honestly I get so tired of *treat bags* and I decided this year I wanted to do something very different. I read the Yada Yada book series this year, and if you've read it you know the main character looks up the meaning of the name of each friend on her birthday and gives it to her. It's really meaningful and says a lot about each character's identity.
Well I thought that would be especially meaningful for a pre-teen girl. I looked sites of names but couldn't find what I was looking for. So, I contacted the author myself...and she responded RIGHT AWAY, how cool is that. She gave me some great leads on web-sites that had name meanings that were more than just the ordinary. The girls' name meanings are written all around the pennants.
This was the FIRST thing the girls looked at when they came downstairs to the party. They can hang it or put it on their door as a continued reminder of their identity and preciousness.
Thanks for looking!

I LOVE these and your invitaitons also! Thanks for sharing!! Oh, one more thing...Do you have a template you use for cutting the pennants or could you please give me the dimensions? I was thinking this might be a cute idea for my son's class. Thanks a bunch and thank you so much for your inspiration!
