My DD6 is in Kindergarten and just loves to stamp with my stuff. Last night I designed a real simple Valentine spinner card while the kids were in bed so I could ask her if she thought she'd like to make these for her class for their Valentine's day exchange and so they'd be easy enough of a project for her to undertake with my help. She really loved them and said YES, she wanted to make these! So today, bless her stamping heart, I cut all the paper and she got busy. We had to make 22 cards and I thought ok...this will probably take a couple of days (a couple hours each time) and we'll get these all done. NOPE, she had her portion done in about an HOUR! ROFLMBO
She stamped all the US white with the Pink Hearts and the Splatter from Itty Bitty Backgrounds. She stamped all the Red Hearts for the spinners. I only stamped the "for my valentine" words in the lower right corner, did all the cutting and of course, put the spinners together. She had to sign the backs of all 22 cards with her name (per teachers instructions). Then I gave her the "lovingly stamped by" heart incentive stamp and she stamped that above her name on the back. THEN, we made envelopes. I took business size envelopes, she had to lick them all and seal em shut, then fold them in half, then cut on the fold with her decorative scissors. Then she wrote all 22 classmates names on each (one per envelope), THEN she stamped some more pink hearts and splatters onto the envelopes to match the front of her spinner cards....WOW, I was impressed at her stamping stamina LOL We got them ALL done and I couldn't think of anyone else but all you ladies to share it with!! I think the kids are going to have fun with these...especially the boys cause they're interactive cards LOL

You go girl! Great card and your daughter's classmate will be thrilled to get these. My 9 year old son also loves to stamp so we will have to try this.

Be sure to save one for a scrapbook page. The story and the card should be cherished forever. What a wonderful way to spend creative time with your daughter. I sure wish I had those days back to do all over again !

That's an awesome card. I love to stamp with both my son and daughter(9/11 resp.) and that's not something I would undertake with them. WOW! I am going to try one for the sample basket.
