This is one of the ornaments I made for a swap. Start with a 6" cricle of vellum. Randomly stamp snoflake and swirl stamps with different inks, overlapping and layering. When inks are dry, fold cricle in half than into forths then 6th and finally 8 sections. Open out circle and invert every other section so it resembles an umbrella. Crease folds well with bone folder when you are sure they're even. Hold 4 sections together to cut out pieces like you would to make a paper snowflake. Release the 4 and cut the other 4 sections to match.Thread crystal bead onto all 8 strings and overhand knot with a 1 1/2" tassles of thread below. Dab glue on knot then dab glue into holeand slip open hole of bead onto tip of icycle. Allow to dry. Thread little blue beads onto each thread individually and bring each string up along inside of folds. Gather them all together at top and knot. Thread heart bead then flat bead, knot by dividing threads evenly and tie in square knot. Leave 1 1/2" space and overhand knot. Add beads and knot each thread. Secure each knot with dab of glue and add a dab of glue where you want each bead between folds to stay. Sorry this didn't photograph better, it's very light and showy with 8 sections where it looks like only 4.
