I am brand new to this so I apologize if this is a poor discrition. I pasted a piece of mulberry paper to a tile with a glue/water mixture, let it dry, and then stamped the image on. Before doing all of that (I did paint the tiles as I had made so many mistakes.) I sealed it with a paint-on acrylic from the hardware store. The spray kind just wasn't doing it for me. Hope you like them!

those are so pretty ... I may have to try that ... great idea ... as I have some of those coasters with mistakes on them ... I have found though that soaking them in bleach or using AWESOME brand cleaner will remove most of the ink even staz-on
