This is a Pop-up card. It is made from a full sheet of 8 1/2X11 card stock, plus a 3x4 rectangle for the pop-up.When you pull on each end of the card(Where the ribbon is) the inside pops up with a message. Cased the idea from a cute ard I recieved from Gail S. Imel at convention

Hey Chris Fuhs - We definitely need to meet up at convention! Roommates again, I hope!!
Explaining how the pop-up works will be a little difficult without a diagram, but I'll try! If you trim about 1/2" off the long side of a sheet of 8 1/2x11 card stock before you begin, this card will fit inside a regular #10 business envelope when you are done.
OK, cut the card stock in half lengthwise. Score first piece from one end in 2" and 3 1/2". Do the same to the second piece. Set the second piece aside. Stamp on the first piece. Holding the first piece vertically, with the scored end up, and the stamped side facing you, fold the 3 1/2" score away from you, then fold the 2" score UP. Hold the plain piece with the scored end down, then fold the 3 1/2" score up and the 2" score down. Now glue these two together. The stamped front should have the scored end on the right and the plain piece has the scored end on the left. If you've glued them together correctly, you end up with a rectangle in the middle when you push the ends together.
Now for the Pop-up - Stamp your message or whatever at the top of the 3x4 cardstock having positioned this piece vertically. Then fold up the lower right corner (it will look like a small triangle). Put the glue on this turned up corner. Turn this piece horizontally and insert into the top opening of the card and press down to adhere to short side of the "box" on the right side. When you pull on each end of the card, this piece will pop out the top.
This is really much easier than it sounds! (And my granddaughter loved her birthday card I made like this.)
