I was at a shoebox swap this weekend. A shoebox swap is where everyone brings a sample card and all the supplies needed (precut cardstock, ink, stamps, embellishments and tools) for the other gals to make it. You come home with a bunch of different cards and have fun visiting with the other gals.
Somehow.....I forgot to bring my stamp set!!!
Fortunately the hostess has a well stocked stampin' space, and she graciously allowed me to look for a substitute stamp set. Thank you Theresa! Since my cardstock was already cut, I had to find something that would "fit" in the spaces and work with the color scheme I had too. Talk about a challenge!!!
The card on the left is the card I planned to make, and the card on the right is the card I came up with using the borrowed stamps.

Definitely a think fast moment...you certainly did great with *plan B*. Both cards are lovely. I've never attended a shoebox swap, they sound like a lot of fun.
Great challenge Beth. Hmmmm, I'll have to see what I can come up with.

I love them both Beth! Beautiful and great save! I tell you...I'm glad I dont' do workshops. Whenever I have the youth group girls over for some stamping projects...I have to run upstairs to my stamp desk at least 5 times for things I've missed!
