K, so this card took a little bit of imagination to do I wanted to make sure the ground all the way across the image would be green, while still getting the sunset effect with the spectrum pad. So I tore a sheet of notebook paper to make a mask for the bottom part where the grass would be, and then I used a scrap of cardstock to cover the Old Olive part of the spectrum pad when I inked up the brayer. Did the brayer bounce over the wheeled image, and then removed the mask and used a sponge dauber to sponge Old Olive ink on the ground.
The card base is Perfect Plum although it looks more like Lavender Lace in the picture. I took several pictures and messed with them on my computer and this was the best I could get. The stars from Background Basics are done in VersaMark on the background, and then Happy Halloween is stamped with Basic Black. I kept the layout very, very simple so that the focus would be on the sunset effect. This is the fourth and final card for my stamp club for this month, so now it's time to start working on the cards for October

Very cool! I have been having such a hard time with this technique. I got the background figured out...but what to do with it afterwards is a puzzle to me. LOVE what you have done. Great job! TFS
