I am not much for modern things, just ask my kids! They think I am very old fashioned. I took my inspiration from the plate in the shape and the colors, the dark color looked blue to me.
I think of a victorian door when I see this scallop from my sizzix collection, and this is the view out my door into my garden. The flowers are faded but I leave them in the garden because the birds love the seeds that they have produced, and when I am lucky I get to see the cutest pair of goldfinches enjoying their lunch. The foliage is hanging on untill winter comes, itt is a melancholy time of year for me, yet I still see so much beauty! I thank you for ltting me wax poetic on this grey Saturday morning.

NancyRuth, hop in the car and come to my house. The air is crisp but the sun is shining, it's beautiful outside. I love how you used the Best Blossoms, I never grow tired of seeing that set.

Great card Nancy. I like the coming of fall but also am always a little sad to see the lovely flowers go. We still have the beautiful leaves to come and then the ice and snow. Grin!

What a beautiful card...this is one of my favorite sets and you really made it shine!! I love how you added a few pine boughs along the edge and the shadowed effect in the window!! I really miss the coming of fall with the crisp mornings and beautiful fall colors.... we are still pretty hot in Texas!
