Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge:Non-Traditional Embellishments!
Well, I normally do not create more than one card for a challenge, but this card CAME to me while driving Markie to school! LOL! I looked over at him and saw my purse. Then, I saw my "feathers" from scouts hanging from my rearview mirror...Feathers...Purse...AH HA!!! LOL!
So, when I got home, I rummaged around the bottom of my "scout trunk" and found these gold beads, sinew, and feathers. I wrapped the feathers in the sinew by tying half hitches. Then, I put the beads on the left over sinew and jammed the feathers into the barrels of the beads. This is done by leaving plenty of sinew (about 6 inches)after tying off! (That was time consuming...Almost 15 minutes!)
Then, I stamped the focal image and sentiment. Next, I tore the sides to make them look "burned" or distressed. I used a cotton ball to apply the ink on the torn areas. (Limited, remember?)
Then, the background...I stamped PAISLEY!!!!! (It looks like my Vera Bradley purse! LOL!) and colored it in with markers! WOW! I like it better than my purse! LOL!
I am often inspired by MANY different stampers, but Zindorf (Michelle), is just AWESOME! This card sort of inspired me...along with my feathers and purse! LSC133 Wanted by Zindorf at Splitcoaststampers
I'm sending this to my MIL who adores anything about the west and wild horses...(She lives in Arizona!)

I think it is awesome. Well, isn't that what the challenges are for -to make us think outside the box. You put in a lot of work on this one, but it's worth it.
