A thank you card for our amazing karate teacher! We are leaving (my son's pleas have finally been heard by DH), but these two years at this school (1st 3 were spent elsewhere), have truly been wonderful!
I tried to add personal meaning so, re: the eyelets, the two centered brown ones are for our two years here, specifically, and that DS is a brown belt. The front gold represents our master and the last silver, the student.
DS's brown belt is signified as well by the brown strip of paper behind the blue background, which itself signifies "male," representing my son.
The black card stock represents the teacher's skill level and the goal of all students, to be a black belt!
Considering the bellies are pre-fabricated, I tried very hard to add personal and meaningful touches! What do you think??
Thanks for looking, too!

I'm sure he will touched by the card. You really put a lot of thought into assembling everything, but then again you are always thoughtful ;) Great job, D!

This is a great card. I am in search of karate ideas for an album I want to make for my daughter (she's 14). After 6 years of hard work, she is testing for her black belt in either January or April.
