The challenge is to create a card that reminds of the Charlie Brown movie It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and this is my card and hereÂ’s the mad dash story of how I made itÂ….do I need a rest after this rush!
Polished stone for the sky and the harvest moon was done with a cotton swab. Stamp the pumpkin outline then stamp the orange and over stamp where I missed or fast color with markerÂ…not perfect but weÂ’re talking 45 minutes here!!! I quickly cut them out, black marker the edge and one strip of tape hold them on the card so they show nice dimension.
I used markers to color Linus and once again one strip of tape.
Direct to paper for the leaves and marker lines.
If I had more time I would have shaded the pumpkins, and added stars and maybe a corner feature but I stayed true to the challenge time and when my tomato timer went off I had just placed the last leaf! Some little guy or gal wonÂ’t care that the extra didnÂ’t make it on!
Cary, I loved doing your challenge!

Roxie, you always AMAZE me!! First---how totally awesome is the sky. GREAT polished stone technique (wish mine would turn out so nice)! ANd the swirly moon is perfect! Too cute that Linus is sucking his thumb while waiting for the Great One (or maybe this is just after Sally has called him a blockhead and accused him of robbing her of Tricks or Treats?! ;)
Thanks for playing!!

I love this card. Reminds me of when my boys were little and watching the Great Pumpkin at Halloween (original TV since they are both in their late 30's now!) Great job...love the coloring.
