Here's a card I made for this month's Sunshine Designs contest. (Check out www.sunshinedesigns.ca for the deets!) The contest is to make a spooky card for Hallowe'en. This isn't terribly spooky (and I would immodestly add that it's STINKIN' CUTE!), but I entered it anyway.
I didn't have the Sunshine Designs Hallowe'en cube, so I had to improvise. I used reverse masking and basic masking to put the face from the Baby Cube into the upside down waterlily from the Floral 3 Cube. I drew the horns and cut them out and glued them down. The "hood" is popped up for some dimension. The image is coloured with Tombow markers on watercolor paper, and stamped with Palette Noir Black. The bag is made from a 3/4" circle (top lopped off), and I drew on a jack o'lantern and shaded it. The handle is some green wire and the "hand" is half of a mini flower punch (from Impress Rubber Stamps), outlined to make it look more like a hand. The monster is highlighted here and there with stickles.
The sentiment (Karen Foster snap stamps) is highlighted with my glaze pen, as is the jack o'lantern face. The moon/stars stamp is another SD stamp on the Baby Cube, I thought the moon and stars would suggest the dark night for trick or treating. Also I have no SD background stamps.
This card was so much fun. I don't normally make Hallowe'en cards, but this one was a scream! Bwah haha hahaha......

What a nice card. I ordered the stamp to enter the contest, and I see I'm up against one fantastic card. You deserve to win because you were so creative coming up with your design. Your card rocks!
