I wanted to use some of my new toys I had gotten from SU, so I first picked my colors, basic gray (love this new color), purely pomegranate and river rock, what a pretty color combo!! On my background I stamped the Floral background after stamping it off once, I then inked up my new sanded backgrounder and stamped it with PP full on. For the rose I stamped off twice for bottom layer, once for center layer and full strength for top layer, I did turn my flower 1/4 turn while still on the paper to give it a smoother look. I stamped the leaves in river rock, stamped off once for bottom, full on for top. I wanted to try my new corner punch so punched out two of each one and used the larger one for basic gray and the top one in PP. For the tag, I used my new hostess set So Many Sayings, after I had cut them apart and put them on dominos per Julie's instructions seen here: http://paperpleasing.typepad.com/my_...--are-you.html
They work SOOO great! I stamped this onto some shimmer white (the same as I used for the rose), in basic gray, and then punched it out with my word window punch. I sponged the edges of the word window punch with PP. I then punched out a large oval with river rock and then a key tag punch of basic gray. I tied on the double stitched pomegranate ribbon to finish the card. I am very please with how this card turned out and LOVE the colors!
