I saw the Sassy Backpack done by Barbara Welch and was so grateful for the idea to CASE. I needed a card for this weekend for our granddaughter who is headed off to her first day of preschool next week. Her mother sent us a photo of Michelle modeling the school ensemble. The card came together this afternoon. Someday I hope to make one as nice as BarbaraÂ’s card; here is hers:
Since I had no idea where to find the pattern she used, I put together three word .docs to use as cutting patterns for the shape. I’m happy to share these through e-mail if it’s okay with SCS. I’m very new at this uploading process and I’m not sure about protocol for other things. This card measures 6” by 3.75” and fits very neatly into a standard 6.5” x 4.75” envelope. I plan to tuck a little note into the front pocket. Again--thank you, Barbara!

I too love the back pack card. Love the color's you used here.
I would so love the pattern for it if you could email it to me at my email address. Thanks so much. You did a great job.
I have 6 grandkids that are going back to school.
This would be a great card to wish them all good luck in this new school year.
Thanks for sharing.
