I borrowed this stamp from a lady I only met this morning at the local coffee shop. We got talking and found she lived right around the corner so we went to her house and stamped and she was kind enough to let me borrow this stamp (which I love and can't get anymore) so I could stamp a few images to make cards from. Stamping is a wonderful world - you meet the nicest people! Anyways, I made the bg by just patting the blue bayou inkpad onto ivory CS. I think it looks pretty neat and looked rather like denim. What do you think? TFL

Wow!! Your card is fantastic and I love your background. You have solved a longtime dilema I have everytime I use one of my lighthouse stamps. I never know what to do with the background. You have given me a wonderful idea, now I can finish one of the lighthouse cards, (I happen to have hanging around) waiting for an inspirational and creative moment. Thanks for sharing and it is wonderful all the new friends and people we meet through stamping.

Another instant fav! Love the colors and the matting. The schooner is fabulous (off to eBay to see if I can find it!) and the way you made the background is perfect. Darlene, YOU are one of those wonderful people we meet through stamping! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!

Love how you did tha background. I haven't tried that yet. I got my schooner and old world map stamp from E-Bay. Have you ever done that. It is great fun. It is great that Splitcoast keeps retired card galleries. Thanks Splitcoast. Yvonne
